There has been no change to this school’s overall judgement of good as a result of this ungraded (section 8) inspection.
We would like to thank all those who took part in the inspection: staff, governors, parents and pupils alike.
As stated on page 5 and page 6 of the report, the Inspector based their judgements on a wide range of evidence, requested further evidence in relation to specific matters during the two days, and correctly and professionally challenged leaders.
The report recognises the values of the school and our strengths, in many areas. It was formally acknowledged within the report that the School and Trust leaders have an accurate understanding of the school’s strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, the Ofsted Inspector acknowledged that the two development points identified from the inspection were already on our School Action Plan prior to the inspection.
In March 2016, the school had a SIAMS inspection. All Anglican church schools have an inspection every five years to look at the leadership and management, the impact of the school's distinctly Christian character on it's pupils, the contribution of worship to the whole community and the quality of RE. The inspector spent the day with the children, talking to school leaders and parents and gave a very poisitive report. The details of this report can be found below.
