SEND & Inclusion

Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

The school seeks to promote the successful inclusion of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are committed to offering an inclusive curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all of our pupils, whatever their needs or abilities, primarily through quality first teaching.

Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo) and Autism Champion is Mrs Lizzie Hurford. If you have any questions or anything you would like to discuss, she can be reached by emailing or phoning 01803 329070.

The school provides a range of support for pupils across the whole school. Please click on the following documents and links for further information:

The Torbay Parent Carer Forum (PCF) is a voluntary organisation, run by a group of volunteer parent/carers, who are working to improve the lives of all disabled/SEN children, young people and their families in Torbay. The PCF informs and consults with local parents and works in partnership with us and the local Health Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and other relevant partner organisations to improve provision for our children and young people.
