Uniform

School Uniform Policy

It is expected that all children will wear our school uniform. We want them to take a pride in being part of the school and in being smartly dressed.

You can purchase school uniform with our new school logo from Riviera Schooldays, contact details are shown below.

Plain coloured unform from other retailers is perfectly acceptable.

All clothing must be marked with your child's name.

  • Polo Shirt: Pale blue with school logo or plain
  • Pullover: Navy blue with school logo or plain
  • Trousers/Shorts: grey or black
  • Socks: Navy blue/Black/Grey/White
  • Cardigan or Pullover: Navy Blue with school logo or plain
  • Skirt/Pinafore Dress: Grey or navy blue
  • Tights: Navy blue/white or grey
  • Blue and white checked gingham dress
  • Black school shoes (no trainers) - should be strong and supportive.
  • Fashion shoes and boots are not acceptable
  • To ensure safety on our stairs and slopes shoes should have soles with a strong grip
  • A small religious insignia on a chain may be worn under the shirt
  • Children with pierced ears may wear one pair of studs
  • Your child may wear a watch (no Smart watches are permitted)
  • ALL items must be able to be removed, by children, for P.E. lessons
  • The school cannot take any responsibility for losses of such items
  • Shoulder or longer length should be tied back or plaited for health reasons, using plain school coloured accessories at all times
  • Hair should not be colour dyed other than its natural colour
  • A Hijab should be in line with our uniform colours – navy blue, black or white
  • Ribbons and hair fastenings should be simple, in uniform colours – blue, white or black and no excessive headbands or hairstyles (e.g. cat ears headbands, large bows, hair colouring, hair extensions, shaved logos/eyebrow fading or patterns) are permitted
  • Children should not attend school wearing makeup, false nails, nail extensions or nail polish.
  • Plain navy blue T-shirt with/without logo
  • Plain navy blue sweatshirt/hoodie with/without school logo
  • Navy blue shorts/cycling shorts (no shorter than mid-thigh length) / skort OR navy blue leggings/tracksuit with no logos
  • Socks: navy blue, white, grey or black ankle length (under leggings)
  • Dark coloured trainers/plimsols

General Notes

  • Children should not bring toys or other personal belongings into school unless specifically asked to do so.
  • Mobile phones should not be brought into school. If in exceptional circumstances your child needs his/her phone it must be handed in to the school office for safe keeping. The school cannot take responsibilty for losses of such items.
