Welcome

Welcome to St Marychurch Church of England Primary and Nursery School.

Welcome to the virtual part of St Marychurch Church of England Primary and Nursery School.  I am very proud to be the Headteacher of this church school recognised by Ofsted for its ‘outstanding care, guidance and support’.  Our Christian values of Love, Peace, Joy and Kindness are at heart of all our work and central to our mission for all children to grow in faith.

Children are encouraged and given opportunities to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.  We strive to ensure all children attain the very highest standards in Maths and English whilst experiencing a wide range of other types of learning so they can leave us as aspirational, responsible, creative and spiritual citizens.

We value parent's involvement with a child's education, so offer an open door approach and will discuss any points of interest or concern parents may wish to share with us.  This website aims to improve communication and information sharing with parents.

If you are looking here with a view to sending your child to our school we welcome and encourage you to visit the school to fully appreciate the quality of education and care we offer.

St Marychurch C of E Primary School is proud to be part of St Christopher's Multi Academy Trust.
The vision of the Trust is summed up in the statement, ‘Flourishing Communities’.  Though we are a Trust made up of faith and community schools, our vision is intentionally rooted in the Church of England’s Vision for Education (2016). The CofE vision explores the principle of ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10v10, The Bible) through four strands: dignity, wisdom, life together and hope.  We aim to keep these intrinsic to our pursuit of enabling the flourishing of pupils, parents and staff of all faiths and none as a direct result of being part of our Trust.  Our vision is explored and expressed through our ‘CHRIST’ values of Collaboration, Humility, Respect, Inclusion, Stewardship, Trust.
