Policies

School policies cover every aspect of school life. Below are some of our most important policies for your reference. If you want to know our policy on something that is not listed, please ask the school office.

In accordance with the new GDPR, which came into force on Friday 25th May 2018, we have issued a new Privacy Policy.

This policy is to let you know how St Christopher's C of E (Primary) Multi-Academy Trust ('the academy', 'the trust', 'we', 'us' or 'our') will collect, use and process Personal Data. It is also designed to let you know your rights and what you can do if you have questions about Personal Data.

PROPOSED VARIANCE TO THE SCHOOL ADMISSIONS POLICY 2021/2022

The Board of Directors of St Christopher’s Multi Academy Trust is seeking a variation to the School Admissions Policy for 2021/2022.  During the Covid19 pandemic, churches and other religious buildings have been closed by law for public worship and for other uses. Since the over subscription criteria for the schools include church attendance (at a specified frequency and period of time) parents and their children, who are seeking admission priority on the faith criteria, are unable to meet this criterion under the terms of our current admissions arrangements.

Therefore, a variation has been requested for the following to be added to the 2021 arrangements for Reception Pupils:

In the event that during the period specified for attendance at worship the church has been closed for public worship and has not provided alternative premises for that worship, the requirements of these (admission) arrangements in relation to attendance will only apply to the period when the church or alternative premises have been available for public worship.

The request for variation will be made to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator on our behalf by the Diocese of Exeter.

If anyone has any questions, please contact the school office in the first instance.
