It is expected that all children will wear our school uniform. We want them to take a pride in being part of the school and in being smartly dressed.

All clothing must be marked with the child's name.

The uniform clothing is available from major stores, items marked * are also available from The National Schoolwear Centre in Torquay.

Shoes:

Navy Blue or Black - should be strong and supportive. Fashion shoes are not acceptable. To ensure safety on our stairs and slopes shoes should have soles with a strong grip.

Summer variations:

Blue and White gingham dress
Sandals - Plain White / Navy Blue / Black must give good support and have ankle and toe straps.

Physical Education:

A named cloth bag is needed to keep the kit tidy and safe.

Indoor P.E. and Playground Games

T shirt: White with school logo* or plain
Shorts: Navy Blue
Tracksuit: Juniors are encouraged to wear a plain sports tracksuit over their P.E. kit in the colder months.
Footwear: Infants - Black plimsolls or bare feet indoors
Juniors - trainers for outside or bare feet indoors

General Notes

• Art/Craft Overall: Please provide an old shirt or an overall to protect your child's clothing from paint and glue.
• Children should not bring toys or other personal belongings into school unless specifically asked to do so.
• Mobile phones should not be brought into school. If in exceptional circumstances your child needs his/her phone please put this in writing to the class teacher who will arrange for the phone to be kept safely for the day.
• Children are expected to change themselves for P.E. so please consider this when buying uniform.
• Other items of clothing are available from the National Schoolwear Centre, Torquay. These include: a book bag with school logo (Approx. £2.50).
