THE SCHOOL FRIENDS
All Parents, Governors and Teachers are members of the St. Marychurch School Friends Association. This organisation holds many events which enrich the life of the school, at the same time as raising very significant amounts of money to provide additional facilities for the children. It welcomes new ideas and volunteers!

HELP US RAISE MONEY THIS

NEXT MEETING
Thursday 1st December @3.30pm
This academic year (2011 – 2012) we are going to build on our success of last year and try and raise £3000 to help with installing out door play equipment on the bottom school playground.
Our first event this school year was the 'Great Balloon Race' with which we were able to welcome all the children and parents from our reception class, we were thrilled with the amount of people that bought balloons and turned up on a very sunny Friday in September to watch us release them we will be announcing the winner very shortly.....
The school disco was a big hit with all children this term and with other 180 children attending from reception to year 6 we managed to raise over £450!!! So MASSIVE thank you to all the children who came and those parents who helped out.
BINGO NIGHT - coming your way on the 11th November @7pm in the school hall, we are currently ironing out the details so watch this space for further information.
We have also been working with a local photographer to create a fun school calendar which we should have ready by early December - we are aiming to sell each calendar for around £4.00 so if you are stuck for a christmas present for a loved one what could be better than a calendar featuring your child!!!!
