Ofsted Inspection 26th January 2017

Following the inspection by Ofsted on Thursday 26th January 2017, we are proud to announce that the Inspector found that 'this school continues to be good'.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our school community for the support during the inspection - we felt very proud of school on the day.

The report outlines that the inspector spent a very full day with the school and found out about much of the work we are doing to ensure your children achieve the very best during their time with us.

Mrs Bond would also like to take the opportunity to thank all the staff at the school - teachers, learning support assistants, office staff, Governors and other agencies we work with.  It is everyone in this team working hard together that enables the school to be the very good school it is.

We will work, with focus, as we always do to address the next steps for the school.  A small percentage of you indicated that your concerns are not listened to.  We will therefore be putting a suggestion box in the entrance hall as another way for you to communicate your thoughts.  These can be anonymous or if you wish for us to able to feedback to you then add a name and a method of contacing you.

Although the inspector has highlighted that the school has 'strongly supported the improving attendance rate' she did also say that unfortunately it still isn't high enough and we must continue to tackle low attendance.  Please help us do that.

Let's all celebrate that our school continues to be good and we are continuing to provide a good quality of education.

SIAMS Inspection

In March 2016, the school had a SIAMS inspection.  All Anglican church schools have an inspection every five years to look at the leadership and management, the impact of the school's distinctly Christian character on it's pupils, the contribution of worship to the whole community and the quality of RE.  The inspector spent the day with the children, talking to school leaders and parents and gave a very poisitive report.  The details of this report can be found below.

Below is the link to our parent survey Ofsted page.  You can complete one of these at any time.  If you think we are doing a great job, tell Ofsted by completing their short questionnaire.  If you think we can do better please tell us!
